FactoryMatch company pages are created for companies selected by the operator by restructuring sourced public information. This Policy sets out the standards for creating them and the rights of listed companies.
1. Creation Standards (Fact-Based Principle)
- We describe only facts that can be confirmed from public information such as official websites, public bodies and trade media. We do not speculate, supplement or exaggerate.
- We keep sources for the facts on each page and state this at the end of each page.
- We do not reproduce company logos or photographs. Charts and other expressive materials are created independently by the Site.
- As a rule, we do not list information that companies can hardly be said to have actively made public, such as details of business partners or finances, even if it appears in public documents.
- Items that have not been confirmed are not listed (a blank does not mean "not supported").
2. Disclosure of Automatic Generation
Company pages are created by the Site from public information, and each page states this. A listing does not imply any partnership, contract or endorsement relationship with the company concerned.
3. Correction, Updating and Deletion (Rights of Listed Companies)
- Listed companies may request correction, updating or deletion of their own pages at any time, free of charge. Requests are accepted through the link on each page or through the inquiry form.
- To prevent alteration or deletion by impersonation, we may verify identity when a request is made (for example, via an email address on the company's official domain, or by confirming with the contact details listed on the official website).
- Once a deletion request has been confirmed, we will stop publishing the page concerned. Corrections and updates are reflected within a reasonable period after confirmation.
4. Listing Decisions
Whether a company is listed, and whether a listing continues, is decided at the operator's discretion. We respond promptly, after confirmation, to reports of statements that differ from the facts and to reports of possible infringement of rights.
